WHAT IS YOUR ROLE/POSITION IN MOTORCYCLING?
I am an Powersports veteran of 16+ years, working with OEMs, show promoters, gear manufacturers, and the AMA. Using my experience and passion for motorcycling, I am currently an independent contractor that works on various motorcycle related projects.
HOW DID YOU GET INTO MOTORCYCLING?
I was inspired to ride a motorcycle, when I saw a lone rider glide past my home and then again on a trip in England and seeing all the motorcycle messengers. When I returned I found a friend to teach me to ride and have been learning ever since then! I was 20.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE/ENJOY IN MOTORCYCLING?
I love the challenge of the road or trail, it's similarities to life over all and the confidence, independence, discovery and appreciation for others and outdoor surroundings that it teaches me!
WHAT IS YOUR OBJECTIVE, YOUR GOAL?
My objectives and goals are to improve my abilities, street, off-road, have the courage to try and be challenged but also to not do something that is beyond my current ability and to remember that along with the many miles I ride, it's the other people I get to meet on those miles that are a true gift!
DO YOU HAVE A ROLE MODEL/MENTOR THAT ENCOURAGED YOU?
I was drawn to motorcycling by seeing riders that we're strangers to me. I have been encouraged to keep riding by many people in the industry.
WHY WOULD YOU RECOMMEND MOTORCYCLING?
I would recommend motorcycling to girls and women because it teaches you who you are-stronger, braver, freer than you think.
