WHAT IS YOUR ROLE/POSITION IN MOTORCYCLING?
Professional cross-country rally rider. Women’s world cup champion 2015. Two times winner of Africa Eco Race rally marathon in women’s category. Head of women’s commission in motorcycle federation of Russia.
HOW DID YOU GET INTO MOTORCYCLING?
I started to race in 1999 in Russian national cross-country rally championship. After that I tried motocross, enduro, supermoto, road racing but finally returned back to rallies in 2013.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE/ENJOY IN MOTORCYCLING?
The most wonderful thing about motorcycling is a feeling of endless freedom and a lot of good people around united with the same passion.
WHAT IS YOUR OBJECTIVE, YOUR GOAL?
I want to become the first ever Russian woman to participate in Dakar rally. I my goal as an MFR member is to promote women’s motorsport activities in Russia as much as it possible. To help girls in our country to achieve their motorsports goals in any way.
DO YOU HAVE A ROLE MODEL/MENTOR THAT ENCOURAGED YOU?
I joined motorcycling myself because I loved bikes since early childhood but when I grew up there were some persons whom I respected and looked at as role models. They are: Alex Nifontov, Stephane Peterhansel, Jutta Kleinschmidt.
WHY WOULD YOU RECOMMEND MOTORCYCLING?
First of all it's great fun. When you ride a motorcycle you feel life much better. You meet interesting people. You feel freedom and fill your body with fantastic emotions which is so difficult to find in ordinary life.
