WHAT IS YOUR ROLE/POSITION IN MOTORCYCLING?
Before starting my own family I was secretary and clerk of course for national events alongside riding local, national and international trials - representing GB in France at the TDN.
HOW DID YOU GET INTO MOTORCYCLING?
My father rode years ago, he bought my brother a bike and I watched for years - finally at 16 years old I decided it was my turn
WHAT DO YOU LIKE/ENJOY IN MOTORCYCLING?
I love that we are all one big family - I have many friends from all over the world who I see very rarely but they are good friends. I have ridden in Australia with the loan of riding gear and a bike through a friend of a friend!
WHAT IS YOUR OBJECTIVE, YOUR GOAL?
I would like to get back to riding regularly after the birth of our little boy and to hopefully one day take him to ride in trials - he's very keen even at 1 1/2 years old!!
WHY WOULD YOU RECOMMEND MOTORCYCLING?
The women's trials family is such a great place to grow up, it is so supportive within the British Champs - everyone supports everyone and its great fun. A great way to spend a day with genuine people.
DO YOU HAVE A ROLE MODEL/MENTOR THAT ENCOURAGED YOU?
My Dad Keith, Mum Denise and an old family friend Alan Bird (Feet Up Trialsport) supported me through the early days and believed I could do it.
