WHAT IS YOUR ROLE/POSITION IN MOTORCYCLING?
I help girls and women to take on motorcycling as a sport or leisure, and I am particularly involved with motocross. I have mentored few of the best female racers in the world and I enjoying keep doing so. I love to work with girls that show talent from a a young age or come from difficult background and bring them to success.
HOW DID YOU GET INTO MOTORCYCLING?
I started race at 6 years old by luck. My parents were fan of the sport of motocross but never knew about kid motocross. We can across it, they bought me a bike and the first race I entered at 6 years old, I finished 3rd among the boys. After that I won every race I entered that year. Motocross has been my life ever since.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE/ENJOY IN MOTORCYCLING?
When I was a racer I enjoyed the competition and the feeling of freedom and accomplishment that race with the best in the world give you. After my racing career I have enjoyed all the skill that motocross gave me to be able to become successful in the business world. I can say that motocross for me was the best life school than ones can attend.
WHAT IS YOUR OBJECTIVE, YOUR GOAL?
I barely ride now because of a bad accident but when I do my goal is to have plenty of fun. I enjoy teaching/mentoring motocross riders so every time I get the chance to ride is an epic day in the book. Strangely enough I don't ride much for leisure... when I ride there is always some sort of competition involved :-)
WHY WOULD YOU RECOMMEND MOTORCYCLING?
Because motorcycling racing and riding is a way to express your freedom and your courage. Riding gives you a feeling of accomplishment from the inside out. It brings smiles on your face always. I never encounter and unhappy motorcycle rider. Have you?
DO YOU HAVE A ROLE MODEL/MENTOR THAT ENCOURAGED YOU?
My parents put me on a bike at 4 years old. I can say that they have been my role models and mentors.
